Vaccination WON'T stop you catching and spreading Covid-19.

Your vaccine will, in most cases, stop you getting seriously sick.
Your vaccine will, in most cases, help slow the spread of the virus.

If everyone, or almost everyone, is vaccinated the fact that the virus spreads is less risky, since most people will be able to cope.
.
But until we reach that point we need to do everything we can to stop it spreading EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN FULLY VACCINATED.
.
That means washing your hands, wearing a mask when you go out and about, and keeping a safe distance from other people for the next year or so until we have more people fully vaccinated and more data to show us just how well (or badly) we are collectively doing against the virus.
